The Corona Save the Beach Hotel officially opens its doors today, much to the astonishment and excitement of onlookers in Rome. The initiative has received some really positive feedback from the public, particularly amongst the younger generation who see it as a great starting point to permanent change.
The hotel’s close proximity to both the Castel Sant Angelo and Vatican City has surprised some members of the public but re-enforces the key message of the project; if we don’t start taking care of our beaches we’ll soon be taken over by rubbish!
If you’re up to speed on your Italian, check out the best of the comments from the locals on HA Schult’s masterpiece! Failing that just enjoy the beautiful imagery…..
