What if the waste we generate ends up in rivers and beaches?
This question is the starting point of CORA, an interesting project that is currently working on developing a mobile and web application to reduce our impact on the environment and turn trash into new treasures.
Two years ago, during a family outing at the beach, CORA’s founders were surprised by the pollution of plastic that was dragged onto the beaches in their area every day and they decided to tackle this problem from another perspective.
The proposed solution is simple: give a second life to the things we no longer want. The application gives us the possibility to get in touch with others who may need what we no longer want. Similarly, we can access things that would become garbage and give it a second use.
Right now is a project, but they are working to build a large database to allow users to connect and find practical and environmentally friendly alternatives.
From Save The Beach we will be attentive to the development of this application that can help preserve the beaches as our greatest treasure.
